Everyday Style by Milly: Bird Print....

Hope you've had a lovely wknd. I've had my wonderful friends visiting and weve had such a lovely time, catching up, eating lots of food and going for country walks. This is a new frock and blouse I've just bought from Primark. The blouse was such a bargain at £5.00 in the sale and I thought it was the perfect thing for layering under this dress. Modern Milly xx

Going Green....

One colour which has always been a favourite of mine (ever since I purchased an amazing pea green boucle swing coat from Topshop when I was a student and inherited the nickname 'Bogey' from my lovely housemates. Yes its true!) is the colour GREEN.

Doesn't matter where I shop, my beady fashion eye is always drawn to some sort of shade or print of green. I love it.....and it seems to suit my pale skin and dark hair. (nothing to do with the fact that I am of Irish descendants of course)

I would love to incorporate more of the brighter hues into my wardrobe this season and have been having a little nosey online to see what is available. Find my best buys below....

Hello my lovelies, well I've attempted to use the old camera and tripod again to capture some outfit posts but the lighting in my house is rather awful thanks to energy saving lightbulbs! Humph! Anyway this is what I wore to work this week. Quite a dressed down look but a comfy one and I'm wearing a skirt instead of jeans which makes a change. I'm loving my tan chelsea boots from Primark, they are great for work because they are soo comfy. Hope your week is going well so far. Modern Milly xx

Reminiscing about my trip to Paris last year brings back very happy memories. I could imagine wearing the above outfit wandering the city streets and sat sipping tea, watching the wonderfully stylish Parisians go about their business. Oh I want to go back soon!

Well hello there Sister Jane!

I recently stumbled across a gorgeous new brand called Sister Jane. They are a Spanish label who are currently available in the UK at Topshop and Asos.

It was the zig-zag collar dress (available at Topshop online for £70.00) that originally caught my eye and when I searched for more and came across their website and all of these other little beauties I got really excited. New brand LOVE alert!
